オレンジがかったピンク色。シャンパーニュ製法の典型的な小さくて粘り気のある泡が再び澱の中に現れる。酸味のバランスが非常に良い。フレッシュでフルーティーな品種の特徴的なアロマを持つ。酵母からのパンのアロマとバランスのとれたチェリーなどのピノ・ノワールの果実味が特徴。
